Agencies work to serve the needs of all students. Agencies offer support and community to the identities they represent, educate the campus community, and empower students to have a voice. The Agencies are charged with helping Florida State be a more welcoming campus to all students. Research shows that being a member of student unions help students learn more about themselves, their intersecting identities, and the world around them. They also help people do better in school, network, build community, and be successful after graduation.
Usually held in the beginning of the Fall semester, the All-Agency Advance is a day for agency leaders to learn about what agencies do, participate in leadership activities, and meet with agency advisors.
