Come visit the Black Student Union house at 921 W. Jefferson St.! The house is welcome to all to socialize with peers, attend events hosted in the house, study, or just hang out between classes.
House Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 5 - 10 p.m.
Friday: 5 - 9 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: Noon - 5 p.m.
Reservable Spaces at the BSU House
Ronald & Annette Wilson Conference Room - 16 chairs and large conference table (Maximum Capacity: 16)
Sean Pittman Multipurpose Room - 62 chairs, 25 rolling tables, lectern/podium (Maximum Capacity: 62)
BSU House Patio - Outdoor space (Maximum Capacity: 75)
- Projection and sound cannot be guaranteed in either space at this time.
- Each program room is pre-set with tables and chairs. Groups are responsible for rearranging the room before and after their event.
Reserved Spaces Calendar
The house can only be reserved during open hours at the following times:
Monday - Friday
8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Weekends will be approved on a case-by-case basis, depending on the availability of staff.
Please note:
- Meetings must be for official department or RSO business.
- Priority will be given to BSU, African American Studies, and SGA.
- The request form IS NOT a confirmation nor a guarantee of space reservation. Confirmation of the space will be made during regular business hours Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. after being reviewed by SAI Office Staff.
- An event permit will be required for each event held in the house.
- DO NOT advertise your event until your reservation request has been CONFIRMED.
- Absolutely no taping/hanging things to the walls will be permitted.
